Welcome to the Computer Graphics (1) exercise sessions. Here you will find all the necessary materials and assignments. Please review the assessment criteria for the sessions.
It is possible to earn 50 points, in the exercises, as they account for 50% of the overall course grade.
The exercises are divided into 2 parts:
programming part (5 assignments) - 25 points
written part (test at the end of the semester) - 25 points
To be admitted to the exam, you must earn more than half of the points from each part, i.e. 13 points from the programming part and 13 points from the written part.
Attendance at the exercises is neither mandatory nor graded.
Submission
Assignments are completed in C# using Visual Studio Community 2022/2026 with WPF, or in Python, similarly to previous courses. Assignments may also be completed in another language, but in that case you will not have a template with a working graphical user interface and rendering.
Detailed instructions, grading criteria, and required files (e.g. templates and input data) are provided for each assignment.
Assignments are submitted to a shared folder to which you have individual access. The submission deadline is specified in the instructions; files submitted after the deadline will not be graded.
Submit the following files: source files and an executable file (.exe). This means that the application must be able to run without compilation.
Place all files in a folder whose name has the format CG1 - PA X - Surname Firstname.
If cheating is detected, 20 points will be deducted from the score of all participants. According to faculty rules, cheating is also grounds for disciplinary action. Cheating includes situations where only part of the submitted assignment is shared, as well as copying a solution submitted in previous years. The undeclared use of AI is also considered cheating.
Although there may seem to be plenty of time to submit the assignments, completing them "at the last minute" is not recommended.
